World Book Day? Say less!

I’ve been immersed in books for the last 2 years.

Partly because I wanted to get back to something I loved to do as a child… read 🖤

Partly due to grief. I read an obscene amount of books last summer as an escape.

Regardless of the reason, books bring me joy and I’m grateful they’ve lead me to create two book clubs that have turned into communities 🫶🏽

it was a beautiful day in the park discussing Harlem Rhapsody by @victoriachristophermurray with other Black women in Houston who love to read.

and i received the greatest confirmation from my daddy that i was in the right place today 🕊️
