Are you a bartender?
Depends on who you ask. The SARs-19 pandemic changed our lives in many ways. For me, a huge change was becoming a homebartender. Since undergrad, I've made alcoholic beverages with whatever was left in my fridge. I started sharing random concoctions on Instagram and it turned into a thing! I've really come to love the process of learning new things and passing that knowledge on to others. We're all in this together!
What do you do for a living?
I get this question A LOT and after nearly 8 years.... I still don't have my elevator speech figured out to answer quickly. At a high-level I work with a software used by clinical laboratories. I'll spare the details, but that includes, the stickers put on the tubes when your blood is drawn, the interfaces to machines used to test your labwork, the online chart your doctor uses to document your treatment.
- I cannot just hire you. I wish I could.
- I did NOT go to school for this. I've always hated science classes, but God insisted on this path.
As a contractor, I typically travel whever my clients are located. The frequency of travel varies by contract, but normal schedule is to leave Houston on Monday to return Thursday afternoon. Sounds tiring, but I have it down to a science! Pre-check and CLEAR are definitely worth the price.
How did you meet Keenan?
Short answer: social media. Long answer: I scoped him out, shot my shot, airballed (timing was wrong), then we went to happy hour for tacos about a year later. It immediately felt right & we've been together since then. I didn't really give him an option....just kinda claimed him as mine and he didn't disagree lol. I get what I want!
Can you decorate/organize my house?
This is definitely something I plan to do in the future. I'd like to get my new home in order first, before focusing on others. But SOON!
