Gin has such a bad reputation with most of my Instagram family. I converted a good amount of them after this cocktail. For me, I took wrong turn with with the qualify of gin I was using in college….which was basically ZERO quality because my bank account was empty. I’m sure some of you can relate. BUT @aviationgin will change your mind. Extremely smooth and plays well in cocktails.
I had Prince’s “Raspberry Beret” for at least 24 hours simply because of this cocktail. It’s boosy remix of the traditional gimlet with raspberry flavor added.I use @lillet nearly every week because it’s so versatile. Adding it here was a no-brainer.
- 2 oz Lillet Blanc
- 2 oz Raspberry syrup
- 1 oz Lime juice
- 1½ Dry Gin
- Raspberries + lime for garnish
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake to chill. This should take about 10. Pour into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with raspberries & lime slices.
