Imagine sipping lemonade while sitting on the porch with a box fan. If you’re from the South, you know what that feels like! Okay now imagine that lemonade has a little somethin’ extra added. Made a boozy strawberry lemonade with a hint of mint and spiked with @timelessvodka & @lillet because this Texas heat has been out of control.
I was really excited to use Timeless Vodka after learning it’s Black-owned because I love to support my people. Got even MORE excited after I learned it’s owned by a Black woman from Houston, TX. You go, girl!
The vodka is extremely smooth. Almost TOO smooth. It blends in so well with the other ingredients that it may (probably will) sneak up on you. Sip slow! Very easy to make. Just muddle the strawberries & mint with the simple syrup and the rest is a piece of cake! Sub the Lillet for sparkling cider if you prefer less booze.
Mix it up! Then Sip!
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Lillet Blanc
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 1.5 oz Lemon Juice
- 4-5 Mint leaves
- 1 strawberry (chopped)
Add strawberry, mint & simple syrup in a glass. Muddle long enough to express the juices and incorprate into the syrup. Add in vodka, Lillet and lemon juice. Top with crushed ice and stir. Garnish with extra strawberries, mint or lemon (or all three!). CHEERS!
